As an installation and preparation assistant at the RISD Museum I assisted in the installation of the Nancy Elizabeth Prophet︎︎︎ Exhibition. Prophet was the first African American to graduate from RISD and this exhibition draws upon historical artifacts to showcase Prophet’s journey. Understanding the heaviness of the head sculptures within the exhibit, I made paper scaled models to assist the installation and curation team. Additionally, I assisted in value engineering the quantity and strategy of the carpet installation.
